Mission Week
Commissioning Service
Sunday 22nd August starting at 6.30pm at St Mark’s Church
Bishop Philip will be joining us to commission the mission week (Love where you live)
the service will begin with refreshments and it’s a time to come together to worship and pray for the week, for God’s love to flow across our Parish and for lives to be transformed.
There is no service at Hope Community Church this week, if anyone from HCC would like to attend the commissioning service but is unable to get to St Mark’s please speak to Jenni and we can arrange transport for the evening service.
Mission prayers & Evangelism
Monday 23rd Aug to Saturday 28th Aug
Each morning at 9.00am at St Mark’s Church there will be an opportunity to prayer for the day ahead.
Evangelism throughout the whole week

Friday 27th Aug 10.30am onwards prayer walking in all three areas of the Parish
Grange Park Garden Make Over
Monday 23rd Aug – Thursday 26th Aug
Two session each day 10.30am-12.30pm & 2pm-4pm, Various locations across Grange Park
Garden’s being handed back on the Thursday afternoon
Layton Alleyway Clear Up
Monday 23rd Aug – Thursday 26th Aug
Two sessions each day 10.30am-12.30pm & 2.00pm-4.00pm
The Alleyway is situated opposite Layton Medical Centre and behind Layton Funeral Directors Alleyway hand over Thursday afternoon

Kingscote celebration BBQ and Music with Keith and Jenny Rabby 6.00pm-8.00pm
Christian Concert
The Big event happening on Friday night 6.00pm-8.00pm behind @The Grange on Bathurst Ave, Grange Park. The concert will involve two bands Soulbox and OCT it’s sure to be a fantastic evening.
Staining Litter Picking
Saturday 28th Aug 10.30am – 12.30pm we will be working hard in the village of Staining litter picking.
Staining Newton Arms Family Funday
On Saturday 28th Aug starting at 2.00pm We are joining the Newton Arms Family Funday at the Newton Arms Pub on Staining Road, Staining. Music with Keith and Jenny Rabby.
